Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Athens Home Care Solutions is licensed by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and carries the appropriate insurance to protect our clients and caregivers.
How much do your services cost?

How are your caregivers trained?
Our caregivers are experienced professionals who receive ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in home care. Continuing education helps ensure our clients receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality support.
How do you ensure client safety?
Client safety is our highest priority. Our caregivers receive ongoing training, follow individualized care plans, monitor for safety concerns, and communicate any changes they observe. We strive to create a safe environment while promoting each client's independence and dignity.
Can I choose my caregiver?
Yes. We work hard to match clients with caregivers whose personality, experience, and availability are the best fit. If a different caregiver would better meet your needs, we'll gladly work with you to make a change.
What happens if my regular caregiver is unavailable?
If your regular caregiver is unavailable due to illness, vacation, or another unexpected circumstance, we can send a qualified temporary replacement upon your request whenever possible.
Do you provide care on evenings, weekends, or holidays?
Yes. We understand that care needs don't stop outside of normal business hours. Services are available during evenings, weekends, and holidays based on your care plan and caregiver availability.
Can family members be involved in planning care?
Absolutely. We encourage family involvement whenever the client desires it. Family members are welcome to participate in care planning, communicate with our office, and receive updates as appropriate.
What happens during the first visit?
The first visit is a free, no-obligation consultation. We'll meet with you and your family, discuss your goals, answer questions, complete an assessment, and develop a personalized care plan based on your unique needs.
Can home care be temporary?
Yes. Some clients only need assistance while recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization. Others benefit from ongoing long-term support. We can tailor services to meet either short-term or long-term needs.
What if my loved one's needs change?
As your loved one's needs change, we'll work with you to update the care plan and adjust services accordingly.
